Q: Is registration on ThisVid free? What registration is needed for?
A: ThisVid is a free service. Because ThisVid has Straight and Gay communities, the registration is needed for automatic separation the site contents according your sexual preferences.
Q: I signed up but I didn’t receive the email to activate my account.
A: Reason 1: You gave the wrong email address for activation. Please try double-checking the email address for typos or unnecessary spaces. Reason 2: Some free mail services mistakenly filter our messages without reasons. Please check the SPAM folder.
Q: I can’t confirm my email, the link you sent me says its an invalid link.
A: Your profile is already confirmed.
Q: When I upload a videos, I have only the gay categories and I can't upload straight videos in straight section.
A: To prevent posting a materials into inappropriate categories the ThisVid is separating the category listings based on the orientation you have chosen in your profile. If you have chosen the Gay as orientation the submitting form will show you only Gay categories, for Straight - only Straight categories, and Gay+Straight categories for Bisexual users.
Q: I wanted to upload videos or photos but every time I try to do so and click on the submit button nothing happens.
A: Make sure your video/album description is at least 25 characters and the title 5 or more. Look at the color bar under the text that changes from orange to green. Pay your attention that Javascript must be enabled on your system.
Q: How do I follow new friends? Every time I try to view a private video/album I'm told to go to their profile and add them as a friend but I can't find any way to add them.
A: The friendship is open for active users only. Just be interesting for your future friends: post vivid comments under photos/videos you like, write novel stories on your wall, upload a good video or create a photo album, make your profile complete and discover all features of ThisVid community!
Q: I have a question to add friends. Some times the button works and adds and other times it doesn't.
A: ThisVid displays tooltips above buttons on the user's profile you want to contact to help you understand the user's choice. For example, people with blank profiles have not opportunity to contact the user if he has blocked new friendship requests from anyone without videos or albums uploaded. To view tooltips the Javascript must be enabled on your system.
Q: I would like to know if it is possible to download the movies to my computer so I can watch them when I cannot be online.
A: Sorry, but files are protected from downloading to avoid distribution of users' private materials to other sites.
Q: Someone has posted an inappropriate comment under my video. What should I do to removing it?
A: If you believe that any of comments is inappropriate or mislead on ThisVid, you should send to us a notification which must include substantially the video/album address (URL) (or video/album title) and text that should be deleted.
Q: Someone has posted a video of me without my knowledge or consent. What should I do to taking it down immediately?
A: If you believe that any of your copyrighted material is being infringed on the Website, you should send to us an notification of claimed copyright infringement. Please read this information to initiate removal procedure.
Q: Why can I not update my profile? Everytime I enter and hit save, nothing happens. I can't upload an avatar either.
A: Please check all fields marked with (*), they must be filled properly.
Q: Can't save my updated profile data (orientation, avatar...) with all fields filled.
A: In most cases the reason is an other user that has same nickname as yours. Double nicknames lead to the system disfunction. Please change the nickname to another one.
Q: I have issues with how ThisVid work and look
A: If you do experience some issues with the site functionality, the reason can be in incorrect work of the browser cache. Your internet browser temporarily stores images, scripts, and other parts of websites you visit in order to speed up your browsing experience. To fix issues with how websites work or look you should clear the browser cache.

Q: Delete my profile please, this app useless and y'all don't have any selection were I can delete my profile, so help me delete it ASAP
A: You should log-in to enter your profile and click "Delete my profile" in the profile menu.
Q: Can my deleted account be recovered
A: Recovering profiles and any data from deleted profiles is impossible.
