hi pukinggirls, my retching starts usually as short quick burps in rapid succession but then after all the air is out i sound more like i'm grunting to lift something heavy while disgusted about something haha. my mouth waters heavily until my stomach settles. gingerale is my best friend afterwards

@fanofbarf oh dear. That sounds quite rough. I'm curious what do you sound like when you throw up, could you record yourself next time you're retching?

my stomach was just like that earlier this week. i woke up feeling nauseated sick and pukeish but there was nothing to come up, only endless forceful dry heaves that made my eyes water and throat and abs sore. At first I thought it was a stomach virus but I was able to determine that it was withdrawal symptoms from quitting smoking cold turkey. I felt yucky and pukey like that for a whole day and a half retching violently every couple of hours, several bouts of diarrhea but felt instantly better after a couple cigarettes so much so that I was ravenously hungry so went out for a double cheeseburger and large milkshake, then had a Subway 12 inch meatball with everything even jalapenos for dessert haha so I guess gradual tapering down is the right method for me.
